I know, I know. At this point, itā€™s not Treefort without BTS playing ĀÆ\_(惄)_/ĀÆ

Formed in 1992 in beautiful Boise, ID by guitarist/vocalist Doug Martsch, Built to Spill is an indie rock classic who never fails to put on a rockinā€™ performance. Just this year, they celebrated 30 years of ā€œThereā€™sā€™ Nothing Wrong with Love,ā€ their second full-length album (yeah, theyā€™ve been around the block a few times) and theyā€™re back at Treefort for round 13. Known as well for their rotating line up, Built to Spill currently counts with Melanie Radford on bass and Teresa Esguerra on drums. Come sing along to all your favs at Main Stage on Friday (3/28)!

Celebrating soulful tunes from Ghanian funk to Brazilian MPB, soul to samba, and everything in between

Adrian Younge is the next generation of soul music. A self-taught musician and recording engineer who has dedicated his life to the study of classic soul music, Younge finds himself at the center of a new soul renaissance with a vision for pushing the boundaries of the music itself. Heā€™s produced for legends such as Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Wu Tang (nbd). A former professor of law, he was the editor and composer of 2007 phenomenon Black Dynamite. Hailed as a modern blaxploitation masterpiece, the soundtrack was listed in the top 10 best soundtracks of the year by the LA Times. Weā€™re about to get soooo soulful with this incredibly talented artist!

Poppy indie rock that feels like a cool glass of lemonade on a hot summer day

Trop-pop (thatā€™s short for tropical pop for all yā€™all out there) outfit Summer Saltā€”formed around the duo of singer/guitarist Matthew Terry and drummer, multi-instrumentalist Eugene Chungā€“just released their fifth LP this summer, and summer is the word Iā€™d use to describe this groovy group! With influences of bossa nova and oldies, they create the perfect soundtrack for chillaxinā€™ by the pool. Or, ya know, a snowy Treefort day. Itā€™s a party either way!

Heā€™s kinda obsessed with us, but idk… it’s kinda mutual

Those of you who were at Snowfort 2024, or caught BabyJakeā€™s Shrine show in November, know about his unbelievable charisma on stage (and his love of Boise). Plan to dance, groove, and swoon to his one and only 70ā€™s hunk rock flare.

Self designated as everyoneā€™s fav boy band

A five-piece band from Salt Lake City, Utah, on the outside they seem like a rowdy crew of goofballs crackinā€™ jokes. But, they have so much more depth and maturity than that (along with their indie/surf rock/pop vibes). Besties from childhood, each member of Krooked Kings comes from a drastically different musical background, ranging from jazz to ā€˜90s alternative to house and everything else in between. Regardless, they make it work, landing on a catchy indie rock sound.

Beautiful, slow-burn, dreamy artist Clover County is droppinā€™ your fav sad-girl pop meets folky americana goodness thatā€™ll have you swooning in your chaps. Picture Jenny Lewisā€™s indie rock charm with Margo Priceā€™s colorful artistic scope, and itā€™s own catchy twang thatā€™s juuuuust enough pop. Keep your eyes out for this one, yā€™all!

I love Delicate Steve. You love Delicate Steve. We all love Delicate Steve! Heā€™s back in action with his latest album, Delicate Steve Sings. Blissful irony, considering he doesnā€™t sing. At all. But the voice of his guitar speaks volumes, and thatā€™s what weā€™re all here for, ya know? And heā€™s been keeping busy: collaborating with Miley Cyrus and Paul Simon, playing in Amen Dunes and The Black Keys, and creating new riffs thatā€™ll blow your mind.Ā

New project with Open Mike Eagle, Video Dave, and STILL RIFT. Need we say more?

This brand-spankinā€™-new project has such effortless chemistry that itā€™s kinda hard to believe that Service Merchandise, their 2024 LP, is their first. The collab names kinda say it all: with Treefort Alum Open Mike Eagle, Video Dave, and STILL RIFT reflecting themes of heartbreak, memory, and nostalgia. Weaving rhymes about video games, TV commercials, cartoons, and other childhood memories, Previous Industries’ tunes are as intimate as a late night hang in the back parking lot.Ā
