CODE OF CONDUCT
Treefort is for everyone. It is a place built by the community and for the community. We strive to create a safe place to gather, share and celebrate. However, Treefort is not a place for inappropriate, disruptive, or abusive behavior, either in person or online.
This could include:
- Abusive or discriminatory verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, or religion
- Deliberate intimidation
- Harassing photography
- Sustained disruption of talks or other events
- Inappropriate physical contact
- Unwelcome sexual attention
Treefort takes its inclusive and community identity seriously and may act if it feels any individual or group has failed to meet the standards set by this Code of Conduct, including but not limited to revoking the individual or group’s Festival passes without refund or terminating any working or professional relationship it has with an offending individual or organization.
If you experience a violation of this Code of Conduct at the Festival please contact a team member, staff or member of leadership (contact in person or at leadership@treefortmusicfest.com).
All violations of the law should also be reported to local law enforcement. For emergencies, immediately dial 911. For non-emergencies, please contact the Boise Police Department at (208) 377-6790.
If you have had an unwanted sexual experience, you can seek additional support by contacting Faces of Hope Victim Center at (208) 577-4400 or the National Sexual Assault Telephone Hotline (RAINN) at (800) 656-HOPE (4673).
