Her latest studio record, Heavy For A While, released on Mother West in March 2024, is both timeless and “a little weird,” embracing offbeat arrangements and bold sonic choices. The album was co-written with longtime collaborator and friend Jacob John, and brought to life by a Grammy-winning team including production by Nathan Yaccino (Matt Cameron, Pearl Jam, Norah Jones), guitar contributions from Skyler Mehal, mixing by Brandon Bell (Brandi Carlile, Joni Mitchell, Dolly Parton), and mastering by Pete Lyman (Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton).
