Four years and a full pandemic ago, we gathered in the snowy mountains overlooking Cascade Lake at Tamarack Resort in Idaho for the first (and only) Snowfort. With another leap year in 2024 we believe it’s time for another mountain weekend filled with live music and good vibes to get us ready for Treefort Music Fest, don’t you think?!

Friday night of Snowfort is shaping up to be a night of good ol rock n’ roll… with a few electronic tunes thrown into the mix. Enjoy an après ski DJ set from CDIGI as you get off the slopes. Then get warmed up & ready to roll with Boise’s Moon Owl’s Mages, Mexico’s psych rock duo Sgt. Papers who are sure to bring fire to the mountain, and close down night one with BabyJake’s one and only 70’s flare.
Saturday night of Snowfort will keep you groovin’ and movin’. Enjoy an après ski DJ set from Jilly.fm to get ya loosened up. Night two gets going with Boise’s Mungo, whose music artfully bridges contemporary R&B and traditional African influences, followed by avant-garde grooves by art-punks Sego, and the grand finale dance party by tech house and live electronic artist Kaleena Zanders.
Dance the night away to back-to-back live performances, and then hit the slopes during the day for an adrenaline-packed experience. Not into skiing? No worries! Tamarack Resort boasts over 25 km of Nordic trails perfect for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and fat biking. And not to mention incredible alpine views with a full restaurant and bar if you just want to be a lodge lizard during the day. There are many ways to explore the winter wonderland at Tamarack!
