Wildflowers & Weeds Hosted by: lazybones Thursdays, 2:00pm–3:00pm pst Wildflowers & Weeds is a mix of cosmic country, folk, Americana, western, outlaw, bluegrass, roots, rock and roll & even desert psych and stadium hits (when acceptable). We feature a strong emphasis on female artists. Showcasing women currently creating in the field and exploring the careers of those that came before them. We tie together new independent artists and new releases with classics that inspired. Hello Cruel World Hosted by: JBJ Thursdays, 3:00pm–4:00pm Hello Cruel World has 3 primary goals: 1) to highlight the work of singer/songwriters/solo artists and their musical evolutions from album to album, 2) to champion a stripped-down acoustic sound and 3) to present conversations and in-studio performances with the people who make the music. Hello Cruel World aims to bring you as much local talent as possible, while also paying attention to new releases from the larger world. Favorite genres include indie-folk, forest rock, and Americana.
