The Skurfs started out hoping to marry Black Sabbath with the Ventures and give it a land locked ski-surf twist. Since those early days of 2010, the band has morphed into a jolly amalgamation of different sounds and styles, drawing inspiration from Big Star to Mazzy Star. Comprised of Donny McBride, Danny Venture, Howie Slopes and Jonny Kinfills, their live shows are loud and waggish - hoping to put a smile on your face and a step in your shoe. Rumor has it they were once visited by a time traveler dressed entirely in tweed. The Skurfs latest hit “I Barfed On My Pizza” is based on a true story.
