The Apricots

Portland, OR
Described as a “nostalgic sonic heat wave,” The Apricots are an indie-folk-rock band from Portland, OR and are revealing all their secrets. Connecting the dots between 70s folk-rock, 90s female pop, and confessional singer-songwriter-storytelling, their music seeks self-understanding and invites listeners along for the ride. The Apricots' quest for truth is expressed through dynamic sound and honest lyrics, always returning to their love for three-part vocal harmony. Formed by college roommates Chloé Serkissian (guitarist/vocalist) and Molly Evered (keyboardist/vocalist) in 2014, the band includes guitarist Jake Mackie, bassist/vocalist Jeremy Reeves, and drummer Logan Hazen. At the end of the day, the 5-piece just wants to make you swoon one moment and groove the next.
