For more than thirty years, movement has been at the heart of my creative practice. As the founder, designer, and maker behind Starbelly Creations, I create wearable fiber art rooted in dance, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for the diversity of the human body. My designs are intentionally created to adapt to a wide range of shapes and sizes, celebrating curves, movement, and individuality.

To support this, I developed the Starbelly sizing system—Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald—a flexible approach that allows each design to remain flattering, functional, and accessible across a broad body spectrum.
I work primarily with silk and natural fibers, designing, hand-dyeing, and sewing each piece from start to finish.
Using ice, water, and professional dyes, I invite intention and spontaneity to meet, resulting in rich, organic patterning where no two works are ever alike. Every garment is thoughtfully engineered to move beautifully with the wearer, balancing visual impact, comfort, and durability.

My work has been worn by dancers and performers on regional, national, and international stages, where flow, structure, and reliability are essential. I have also been selected as a featured designer for the Culture for Change Fashion Show (2024 & 2025), where my work was recognized for its inclusivity, craftsmanship, and innovative use of fiber in wearable form.

At its heart, my work is about bringing fine artistry and beauty into everyday apparel. I love translating the drama of the runway and the poetry of movement into clothing meant to be lived in, pieces that invite play, self-expression, and a little magic in the ordinary.
