Soul Velocity is a Boise based Producer / DJ with 16+ yrs of music production under his belt. His original tracks and remixes consist of House, Tech House, Breakbeat, Minimal and Electro influences. When performing and mixing expect to hear genres of House, Tech House, Breakbeat, Electro & Minimal varieties. His technical mixing skills & knowledge of music production lend a result of sculpting sound and rhythms that will keep you moving your body to the beat. Some of his favorite ways to create tension on the dance floor consist of psychedelic reverbs / delays, echos, stutters, looping, vocal chops, beat repeats, and other post effects found on modern mixers. Soul Velocity mixes consist of tracks from Labels such as: Trippy Ass Technologies, Dirtybird, iSH, House Of Hustle, Spoon Fed Records, Box of Cats, Artichokes Are Yellow, Experts Only, Rules Don’t Apply, Digital Structures, SNOE, Octopus & Wonky Wrecords. He also collects music from friends, Beatport, Band Camp, Inflyte, and other underground sources. Soul Velocity has taken music production classes from industry leading professionals that are continually breaking the traditional mold and opening up new possibilities for underground Artists. He lends credit to some of those teachers such as Lenny Kiser, Mark Starr, BOT, GROW, Wyatt Marshall, Sacha Robotti, Ciszak, Bruno Furlan, Ardalan.
