Shay Woodhouse

Shay Woodhouse was born and raised, 5th generation on a potato farm in Oakley, Idaho. She is a multimedia artist working in ceramics, oils, watercolor, quilting, and jewelry design. Shay’s artwork processes concepts of home, addiction, rural identity and the American Dream. She received her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 2018. Since then, she has resided in Boise where she has a full time studio practice and runs The Clay Collective offering clay classes, figure drawing, and art shows to her community. Shay's jewelry line, Clay by Shay, has been her major focus over the last 8 years and is currently carried at the The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
