The Colossal Collective is a group of Boise-based artists, engineers, builders, and performers who use teamwork to make puppets, and use puppets to make magic. Since 2012, the Colossal Collective has been providing unforgettable and fantastical experiences in the Boise area, oftentimes at the Treefort Music Fest.

The Collective was founded by Sam Johnson, an artist who grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is a firm believer that art should be actively experienced and interacted with, not passively observed and consumed.
