Nostalgia's inevitable boom in popularity is accredited to the fact that he can do exactly that: genre bend. Whether it's braggadocios raps, melodic r&b, or moody pop, all you need to know is that it's never out of range. Being raised in Boise, Roo accredits many of his influences to the city. While Idaho has never really had that 1 household name on the mainstream, it definitely has adapted many of the popular sounds from its neighbors and residents alike. So when you take that and pair it with a West African household with heavy hip-hop, afro beats, and funk influence, you get Roo Nostalgia.
