ARTIST'S BIO: Kelsea Bauman-Murphy is a filmmaker and New Yorker who was technically born and raised in Los Angeles. She is currently the digital producer on HBO's flagship talk series "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver." Kelsea wrote, directed and starred in her first short film,”Sleeping Alone,” which won the 2024 audience award at the Lower East Side Film Festival. She recently had a lead role in the independent feature film “Vanilla” and was an associate producer for HBO’s comedic docuseries “Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas,” where she got to travel the US working on pieces about social justice and systemic inequality.
