Boise based multi-instrumentalist and producer Monica Palmer crafts music that is sonically immersive and atmospheric. In her debut album 'We Are All Escaping', she creates a world of flute-heavy, ethereal soundscapes mixed with layered synthesizers and atmospheric vocals. She takes the listener on an introspective journey through her sound design. Her background and training in both jazz and classical music is evident throughout her album, which was released in September 2023. Palmer's music blends elements of electronica, ambient, and EDM in a transformative, genre-bending fashion. Alongside performing and composing, Palmer is also a passionate teacher and advocate for music education. She hopes to instill within her students the same passion that she has found through music, and the world of self-expression that opens up when you begin interpreting, exploring, and creating.
