Melancholy Club is a punk/emo/rock band from all over the US but planted in Utah. Front man Tanner Padbury left Oregon for college and stuck around after meeting lead guitarist Rex Blair (of Dog Years) from Georgia. Together the two blended sounds of emo/punk and math rock to land somewhere around what folks are calling "midwest emo", but they continue to evolve. Bass player Noah Shelton (of Camp Ghost and Tiger Bike) from Arizona and Zane Dees from Utah have helped push the sound further into something thats fun, and still heavy, and often sad.
In 2024 the band released their EP "sle-ep", a year after releasing EP "Delete This", and plan to have a full album coming out within the year. Melancholy Club has played shows along side Tiny Moving Parts, Michael Cera Palin, Standards, and more, continue to bring fresh sound to rock music, and live experiences to remember.
