Made my last zine in 1994 and created this to connect with my daughter who is in love with all things photography. Meaty okra is a father daughter creation. Born out of a hard couple of years and really a cathartic work of joy. We are seekers of beauty, wonder, and whimsy. Wanting to empower others to create and pause and see the beauty surrounding us. A pinch of diy, a couple tablespoons of punk aesthetic, and a heaping teaspoon of love. Since releasing our first issue at Boise Zine Fest in 2023 we’ve been wholeheartedly welcomed by the zine community and strangers alike.
