Max Indiveri

Max Indiveri

Max Indiveri is the product of a reckless determination to break into the lawless and insular music community, no matter the cost. Born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas (a scene not known for much more than it’s strip malls and minivans), Max was told from a young age that he could never make a living in the music industry. In his freshman year of high school debate, Max was told that he would never become an effective advocate. Fueled by a mix of indignance and petulance, Max won the Debate Coaches Invitational and qualified for NSDA nationals his senior year. Fueled by that same fire, Max continues to grow into a pivotal role as an advocate and artist in the development of the new music industry.
Max now attends Law School at the University of Kansas, where he is a third year student. He hopes to use his degree in service of the entertainment community and the folks who now occupy those very same roles he assumed to make ends meet. In service of this hope, he now occupies a dual role at Midtopia, a 501c(4) organization dedicated to crafting equitable and sustainable pathways for independent artists to create the important work that they desire to do. At Midtopia, Max works as a member of the touring team, where he secures performance opportunities and works collaboratively with industry members on behalf of Midtopia’s growing roster of clients, In addition, Max works as a legal intern under Midtopia’s general counsel as he works to help build the infrastructure upon which progress might be built. In his free time, Max tours with his band “The Whips”, writes music and watches “Heat” and other films featuring our greatest Italian Americans.
