Alisha Edmonson is the Co-Owner of Songbyrd Music House, an award-winning 250-person capacity venue, and Byrdland Records, respectively, located in N.E. Washington D.C.'s Union Market District. Alisha is the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) Mid Atlantic Precinct President as well.
Before working in music, she was a practicing architect, designer, and contractor. She also slung cocktails and managed several bars in DC while getting her Master's in Global Environmental Policy
