Lex Leosis
Toronto
Lex Leosis is a decorated hip hop artist that weaves slick lyricism with a range of converging musical genres from Hip-hop to Jazz, Funk and Pop. She is a writer, rapper, multi-instrumentalist and producer that brings a jack-of-all-trades approach to her music. Active as a solo artist and a part of various groups including past supergroup, The Sorority, Lex is a truly collaborative artist. Aside from her own artistry, Lex co-runs a collective of writers all based in LA that contribute songwriting to various projects. Lex kicked off her solo career amid COVID, but did not let it discourage her from releasing an album, a followup EP and eventually positioning herself to join Snotty Nose Rez Kids on a 30+ city North American tour. She's stayed busy releasing and writing for others in the years since. Her music has landed in CBC's Pretty Hard Cases, Run the Burbs, and Canada female Soccer Documentary, SHUT OUT. She's launched duo group 2WINS with Toronto emcee, Keysha Freshh, and this past year created a full album with co-writer, CALLMESTEVIERAY, called Sorry for Asking. After closing out the year with 2 EP's Lex is poised to drop her next album in March 2026.
