Jodeen Revere

Boise, Idaho

At sixty three years and 9 months of age, thirty years past the time where most female performershave been euthanized, Jodeen Revere seems to be finding her stride as both an actor and a writer.

For over thirty years she has worked on stage, in film, commercials, voice over, staged readings and movement based theatrical experiences. She has worked with Boise Contemporary Theater, Migration Theory: Art That Moves, and Alley Rep. She writes creative non fiction and personal essays. She sees her writing primarily as material for her to read aloud or perform. She has written for 1440 Multiversity, contributed to recorded readings for Ming Studios My On Mondays, been a presenter at Story Story Night, Storyfort, Campfire Stories, Address Book, 7:00 Series at Ming. Her solo show The Persistent Guest had its premiere and fully staged production at Boise Contemporary Theatre in 2022. She received a $10,000 Alexa Rose Foundation Grant to tour the show and has taken a stripped down unplugged version to The Spot in Sun Valley, United SoloFest in New York, Sidequest Stage Bainbridge Island, West of Lenin in Seattle, private salon performances in Medford Oregon and San Francisco and The Den Theater in. Chicago.

The theatrical/filmatic film version of The Persistent Guest premiered in 2025 at Idaho Film Society and The Flicks in Boise. Look for it streaming somewhere soon... She is greatly enjoying this work in progress of Live Action Memoir as Performative Duet work with Tracy Sunderland.
