Jessi Strong is the co-owner of Sofia’s Greek Bistro in Boise, Idaho. She has owned and operated the restaurant with her wife for over twelve years. She graduated from Boise State University earning a degree in Interdisciplinary Professional Studies, with an emphasis in Leadership. She has a background in marketing, sales, and event planning. Strong is a community-centered leader, whose family roots go beyond one hundred years in Idaho. Her close connection to serving her community has led her to be involved in several causes for equity. Most notably, Strong is credited as the creator of the Sofia’s Feed the Kids program. Strong strives to devote her time to raising funds for local charities such as The Idaho Food Bank and Interfaith Sanctuary. Strong has also volunteered for local organizations including Boise Pride. As a local business owner, she is proud to create a safe place for people in the LGBTQ+ community to work and visit. In her leisure, she can be found swimming, enjoying music, reading a good book, or spending time with friends and family.
