Boise, IDIsabelle Shifrin's short fiction has appeared as a First in Fiction in The Missouri Review (winter, 2020), and in the Master's Review Anthology of Best Stories by Emerging Writers, Vol. XII. A flash fiction piece was short-listed for Fractured Literary's 2023 Winter Fast Flash Challenge, and long-listed in 2025 for a flash fiction contest by Fish Publishing, Ireland. Isabelle is currently working on a novel about perimenopause and water rights.
