Hit Like a Girl is a queer indie/emo/pop band from Philadelphia, fronted by Nicolle Maroulis (they/them). Since forming in 2016, the band has been known for their emotionally charged music, which touches on themes of growth, heartache, first loves, and grief. With their raw, honest lyrics and catchy melodies, they’ve built a strong and dedicated fanbase. Over the years, they’ve toured across the U.S. and shared the stage with bands like Mom Jeans, Prince Daddy and The Hyena, Tigers Jaw, Petal, and more. Hit Like a Girl's sound is a mix of indie rock, emo, and pop, with each song offering a snapshot of life's most personal moments. Whether it’s the pain of letting go or the joy of discovering new possibilities, their music connects with listeners who appreciate authenticity and vulnerability.
