Brittany Menjivar was born and raised in the DMV; she now works and plays in the City of Angels. As a filmmaker represented by Untitled Management, she’s developing a slate of feature projects, including an adaptation of Alex Kazemi’s novel New Millennium Boyz. Her poetry and prose collection, Parasocialite, received praise from the likes of Nylon, Office, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and the Whitney Review of New Writing. She’s the co-founder of bicoastal literary reading series Car Crash Collective and the EIC of The Bloodletter, a forthcoming Substack newsletter exploring deviant and daring art across disciplines
