Asa Menlove makes country music with his friends in rainy Bellingham Washington and dreams about days gone by. He'd like to think his songs fall somewhere on the spectrum that exists between country music greats like Townes Van Zandt and drugged out freaks like David Crosby.

Originally hailing from Boise, Idaho, Asa often writes about the mountains and rivers that surround the city. Asa loves wool blankets, light beer, swing dancing, pedal steel, sagebrush, his friends, Neil Young, wilderness, and light beer.

His upcoming studio debut (titled "Asa Menlove") is a collection of songs about boats, running away, places, solidarity, and love.
