Andrea Marcoccio

Andrea is the daughter of a middle-class working family from Rhode Island. She talks fast and cusses a lot. She is the founder and co-owner of Matchwood Brewing Company located in Sandpoint, Idaho. Matchwood Brewing Company is Sandpoint’s neighborhood brewery where personal connections foster positive community change through the power of dialogue and laughter — one delicious handcrafted beer at a time. She is a board member of the Pend Oreille Economic Partnership, a regional leadership council member for the Innovia Foundation, and the founding and active chair of the Sandpoint Pride Festival and Sandpoint Alliance for Equality. In 2024, Andrea was the national program officer for the Campus Organizing Action Fund moving millions of dollars directly to black, brown, queer, and trans-led youth organizations. Currently serves as a senior advisor to the largest grassroots youth organization in the country, the Alliance for Youth Action. Andrea is a believer that dialogue, laughter, music, and craft beer are essential tools for disrupting the disconnection and division dominating our communities and culture. She is a mom of two brilliant, kind, and tiny humans named Delaney and Connell. All of this is only possible because she has Kennden Culp as her husband and life, business, and parenting partner.
