🏠 Boise, ID Amoeba Arena is a standout in Boise's DIY scene, blending twinkly guitar riffs, jazzy open chords, and catchy hooks. Influenced by Midwest emo, they draw inspiration from bands like Title Fight and Algernon Cadwallader. Formed in 2022, from practice sessions at The Boise Hive, the quartet—Grant Meister, Jeremiah Jensen, Brayden Vilendrer, and Colin Singh—quickly made a name for themselves. They've shared the stage with acts like Camping in Alaska, Floral, Catalyst, and The Jins. Their debut EP "Absolutely" and several performances at the Shrine Social Club have solidified their place as a local favorite. Their sophomore EP, a split with Boise emo band "Fleeting Confidence", was released on November 8th, 2024.
