Alec Gewirtz is Editor and Publisher of Kismet, a literary magazine of spirituality, religion, and mysticism. He also is the co-founder and CEO of Nearness, a cooperative organization that creates spiritual community for nonreligious people, which has been featured in The Atlantic and on BBC and NPR. He received a B.A. in religion at Princeton University and was a Fulbright Research Fellow at a theological college at the University of Toronto. He's represented by Annie DeWitt of Enliven Endeavors.
