Filmfort brings the very best in contemporary, independent cinema to Boise! For three days during Treefort Music Fest, Filmfort showcases diverse cinematic perspectives and boundary pushing work for audiences of all ages.

Filmfort is THE place to catch independent, up-and-coming cinema. Whether you’re a film fanatic or want a break from some tunes (and to munch on some popcorn), Filmfort’s got something for everyone.


Featured features include: DEAD LOVER, which sold out Sundance and is hot on the festival circuit; NOT ONE DROP OF BLOOD, a documentary about a deep dark mystery in Eastern Oregon; OBEX, named “one of [Sundance’s] best offerings” by the New Yorker; and THE EMPATHIZER, a comedic exploration of what it’s like to be bicultural.

Filmfort takes place Thursday, 3/27 through Saturday, 3/29 during Treefort Music Fest 2025. Films will screen at The Flicks, Idaho Film Society, and Boise Centre.All films are included with a 1-day or 5-day Festival Pass or a Filmfort Badge, which are $39.99 and are on sale NOW.
