The most powerful AI tool you’re not using is trained on your own knowledge — build it live.
Fri 3/27, 1:00 pm – 1:50 pm
JUMP 5th floor : The Makerspace
Bring your laptop and build an AI trained on your own knowledge. Learn how to structure sources, chat with your data, and turn documents, videos, and notes into a personal intelligence system using NotebookLM.
Most AI tools start with the internet. This workshop starts with your knowledge.
NotebookLM lets you build an AI that is grounded entirely in your own documents, videos, notes, and links—no drifting, no hallucinating, no guessing. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll bring your laptop and build a working NotebookLM system live.
We’ll cover what content you can load, how to structure a clean context layer so the AI actually understands your material, and how to turn PDFs, YouTube videos, transcripts, and scattered notes into a coherent, queryable knowledge base. You’ll learn how to chat with your knowledge, control scope, adjust personality and tone, and use the Studio features to generate summaries, mind maps, reports, audio, and visual outputs powered by a reusable prompt library you can take with you.
The session finishes with real workflows, including building an AI “board of advisors,” running sentiment analysis on feedback, and transforming dense information into creative outputs all grounded in your sources.
This workshop is accessible enough to jump in as a beginner, and by the end, you’ll be working with expert-level use cases and workflows. No hype. No slides-only demo. You leave with a system you’ll keep using.
