Drool over some of our Dragfort 2026 Performers
KING MOLASSES
King Molasses is an award-winning Nigerian-American drag king, creative producer, and performing artist based in Washington DC. They are most known as the winner of the televised competition series, King of Drag. Molasses was named on the 2025 Out100 list, honoring the nation’s most impactful LGBTQ+ innovators, leaders, and creators by Out Magazine.
Debuting in 2018, Molasses was first inspired by black drag kings in DC’s historically gay neighborhoods. They have since garnered international acclaim for their live performances and thoughtful approach to movement, pushing the art form of lip synchronization into a transformational practice of Black surrealism and a vulnerability, “radiating grief, tenderness, and pride.”
Their work has been commissioned by The John F. Kennedy Center of the Performing Arts and the Smithsonian, and they are a principal performer in Sasha Velour’s acclaimed NYC drag revue, NightGowns. Molasses has been featured on CNN, The Washington Post, Good Morning America, and NPR.
AJA
Venus Nadya, professionally known as Aja, is an internationally recognized multidisciplinary artist, burlesque performer, DJ, and cultural leader from Brooklyn, New York. Rising to prominence through RuPaul’s Drag Race, All Stars, and Legendary, she has built a career that extends far beyond television, earning recognition as one of the few Drag Race alumni to achieve sustained mainstream success across music, performance, and cultural advocacy.
Aja is a critically acclaimed recording artist whose work has been praised by Forbes, Rolling Stone, and Billboard for its sharp lyricism, distinctive flow, and cultural impact.
Her artistic practice is deeply rooted in ballroom culture. Venus began walking Kiki balls in New York City in 2006, and in 2025 was deemed Legendary in the mainstream ballroom scene for Runway. She is a member of the iconic House of Miyake-Mugler. These foundations inform her work, which centers visibility, embodied storytelling, and the lived experience of Black and Latino trans communities.
Currently, her creative focus is on burlesque, being a showgirl and DJing, where she creates immersive, audience-driven experiences shaped by nightlife, fashion, and community.
DIANA CAIN
Derived through dimensions of disorder and dynamite, this dramatized doll of drag dawns on this, the devilishly awaited date.
This diabolic Dionysus of the night will descend upon you, designed to the damned and deliciously diagnose the delusional. A dynamo of daring, dancing delirium one draped in the dermal of Denimm and dessert.
So let me simply add that I’m deeply please to meet you and you may call me, Diana.
