Comedyfort 2026 is comin’ in hot—packed with giggles, belly laughs, and everything in between.
Comedyfort will take place at Egyptian Theatre, Boise Contemporary Theater and more venues TBA.
With a mix of up-and-comers and standup heavy hitters, Comedyfort keeps the good vibes rollin’ all festival long at Treefort Music Fest this March.
Everything below is in addition to two incredibly hilarious and household names already on the Comedyfort lineup: Hannibal Buress and Joe Pera!
You may recognize them both from both the New York/East Coast comedy scene. They’ve both starred in Adult Swim shows: Hannibal Buress, of course, being Eric Andre’s iconic sidekick in The Eric Andre Show, and Joe Pera hosting his own sleepy-time comedy-drama Joe Pera Talks with You. Now, they’re coming to Boise for two back-to-back nights of comedic gold.
If you already have your 5-day or a 1-day Treefort pass, you can try your luck at getting a seat in the mezzanine at Egyptian (entry is included with wristband), but we recommend getting there very early!
If you cannot bear the thought of missing either of these guys, then buy a ticket to reserve your spot in the audience! Choose your seats at checkout so the earlier you buy, the better the spot 
All Comedyfort events require a 1-day or 5-day Festival Pass OR an Individual Show Ticket to attend.

Hannibal Buress is comin’ to Treefort everyone!!
From his iconic role as Lincoln the charming dentist in Broad City, to recurring appearances on The Eric Andre Show, plus his charm and wit making an indelible mark on late-night television, featuring on shows such as David Letterman, Conan, Stephen Colbert, and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Hannibal is by now a household name. His pacing, delivery, and joke writing are superior.
In 2022, he underwent a transformation, shedding his skin to become Eshu Tune in the world of music. See Hannibal on the stage performing his comedy as well as his tunes at Treefort! Through these transformations, Hannibal Buress remains a true warrior in the world of entertainment, and we are so thrilled to bring him to the fest!

Standup comedian, writer, and filmmaker Joe Pera is soft-spoken, subdued, and an absolute riot. His persona of a Midwestern octogenarian is so ingrained in his being, that we’re really not sure if it’s an act or if he really is that precious.
You may be familiar with his Adult Swim series, ‘Joe Pera Talks With You,’ which The LA Times refers to as “TV’s quietest, most artful comedy,” Perhaps you’ve drifted off to sleep with his podcast ‘Drifting Off with Joe Pera’ along with composer Ryan Dann. OR, maybe you’ve relieved yourself while perusing his book ‘A Bathroom Book for People Not Pooping or Peeing But Using the Bathroom as an Escape’ (now available).
However you know him, get ready for gentle laughs, belly laughs, and welcoming the awkward silences.

Jay Jurden is a New York based comedian, writer and actor. Originally from Mississippi, Jay regularly performs comedy all over the country. Now, he’s headed to Boise!
Jay was recently a staff writer for Apple TV+’s Emmy-nominated show, The Problem with Jon Stewart. He has performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Comedy Central Featuring, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and HBO’s High Maintenance. Jay was named one of Variety’s 10 Comics to watch in 2022 and was listed on Vulture’s Comedians You Should and Will Know in 2020.

Ali Macofsky is a stand up comedian, actress, and writer who began her comedy career at the age of 7. So, she’s been funny basically her whole life.
She would join Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM every weekday morning and prank call listeners as her character “Lil Ally” and has continued to pursue comedy ever since. Most recently, Ali was named a New Face of Comedy at the Just for Laughs Comedy festival in Montreal. She also just completed a tour opening for St. Vincent. Ali’s stand up has been featured on Just For Laughs and she has a popular series on her Instagram (@notalimac) where she talks to strangers online. Plus she hosts a weekly podcast called Resting Bitch. Ali’s voice on and off stage has captured a wide range of fans who gravitate toward her honest, relatable sense of humor and unique perspective on life.

Hailing from the Big Apple, Marie Faustin is a comedian and actress known for her storytelling skills, lightning-fast crowd work, and ability to turn a bad date into a good story.
Her comedy often explores dating, relationships, and the hilarities of everyday life. Marie has appeared in The New York Times, GQ Magazine, MTV, HBO, BET, and Comedy Central. She’s currently hosting a dating game show called Why Are You Single? to figure out what exactly is wrong with us all.

Whitmer Thomas is a comedian, musician, actor, and filmmaker whose special WHITMER THOMAS: THE GOLDEN ONE was released on HBO in February 2020, produced by Bo Burnham, Chris Storer, and A24.
Whit and his writing partner Clay co-produced, voiced, and wrote the ADHD animated series STONE QUACKERS on FXX (now available on Hulu) featuring John C. Reilly. Following the premiere of his special on HBO, SubPop Records released its original music, “Songs From The Golden One” on their imprint label Hardly Art. The show has sold out venues in NYC, LA, Philly, Chicago, Seattle, and Portland. He recently filmed his second comedy special titled Whitmer Thomas: Terminal Crew Of Dudes — release date TBA.

You may recognize writer, comedian and actor Carmen Christopher most recently from the FX series English Teacher and The Bear.
He wrote on A24/Showtime’s series The Curse, created by Benny Safdie and Nathan Fielder, starring Fielder and Emma Stone, and he wrote and appeared on The Chris Gethard Show for truTV. Christopher can also be seen on I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson, Joe Pera Talks with You (crossover alert!!!), Shrill, High Maintenance, and in the A24 feature film Friendship.

Ivy Wolk has recently starred in award-winning films, including Anora, which won the Palme d’Or at Cannes Film Festival, and Friendship opposite Paul Rudd and Tim Robinson (which won the fake but very valid Treefort Staff Picks award).
Catch her in Jonah Hill’s Outcome in scenes opposite Keanu Reeves, in Eugene Kotlyarenko’s film The Code, in Mary Bronstein’s If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, along side Comedyfort companion Carmen Christopher in English Teacher, and is best known for her strong recurring role in Josh Thomas’ Everything’s Gonna Be Ok. Ivy was just listed as one of System Magazine’s ‘Ones to Watch.’
