Immerse yourself in the visual arts with Artfort at Treefort Music Fest! Express yourself the best way you can–through art! From live dance performances, circus acts, and on-site live mural experiences, the world is your oyster to enjoy performances and pop-ups all throughout the fest.
Artfort is free and open to the public (no wristband required, but we highly recommend getting a 5-day pass). Some Artfort experiences may be in a venue that requires a Festival Pass. Artfort 2025 will include works from:

Kick off the festival right on Wednesday at The Balcony with Boise Circus Guild & performers; Muff Jones, Papi Cock, & Jack Queerouac Wednesday night for some aerial, burlesque, & magic (anyone like a little Dungeons & Dragons?).
Tropico FM will be back at The Basque Center this year bringing along another wonderful group of 10 participating artists for our gallery this year: “Coatl: Ten Perspectives.” Find them all week in the space during the fest, on the website, & we welcome the Latinas Mercadito, Saturday at 10AM for a fun festival market featuring some wonderful creators & crafters!
Head to Lost Grove Brewing and find one of ‘Back Rooms‘ artists’ installations here featuring some great locals & out of town artists! It will be experimental & very unique. Also check out dance collectives Migration Theory & Off Center Dance for some great performances during the fest,
BONUS! We will have another secret installation in the basement of the Shrine by the artists of ‘Back Rooms‘ here. Head down and see if you can find the hidden art 🕵️

Drop by the Idaho Shakespeare Festival School of Theater on Saturday for a performance art showcase featuring 6 local & travelling performance art collectives all afternoon & don’t forget Pink Runway at Main Stage on Saturday at noon (peep Ballet 22 in the mix)!
Julia Davis Park! Come find not 1 but 2 mural installations, facilitated by Sector Seventeen artists Hawk Sahlein & Collin Pfiefer & 7 other amazing local mural artists (a fun crossover with some of our gallery artists over at the Basque Center this year). Also come check out Open Letter Collective & their print-making set up! Lastly, swing by the Flatstock tent again this year for some very cool art & prints featuring your favorite bands.

BALLET22
(Oakland, CA)
Ballet22 produces and presents classical and contemporary ballets that break gender normative traditions, specifically by presenting men, trans, and non-binary artists “en pointe.” The company is dedicated to commissioning new ballets that bring LGBTQIA+ representation to the genre.
SECTOR SEVENTEEN
(Boise, Idaho)
ELMS and MAWK ONE are self-taught aerosol artists, teaming up to create a wide variety of public, private and commercial murals. Both are rooted in the traditions of graffiti, drawing on this aesthetic combined with realism and abstract elements to compose their works. Sector Seventeen will be creating a live mural during Treefort Music Fest at Julia Davis Park.
BOISE CIRCUS GUILD

Boise Circus Guild is a non-profit 501(3)c organization based in Boise, ID founded in October of 2018. We are committed to supporting circus and it’s artists in Idaho and growing the circus community. We produce shows that feature local artists, perform in several events within the Treasure Valley, as well as providing educational support in circus! We love getting to share the joy of circus with the community and foster a safe space for artists to explore and create! MUFF JONES
(Boise, ID)
The Femme Daddy of The City of Trees, Muff Jones is a Boise, ID based performance artist, educator, designer, and producer. Founder of Femme Von Follies, Tease Academy, Sunday Night Burlesque, Queerly Arts, and co-founder of Make ’em Blush Burlesque (2020 & 2024 2nd place Boise’s Best Performance Art). Muff is a main judge for Boise, ID’s Best Showperson Competition. Muff has been awarded “Most Magical” at The Great Burlesque Expo (MA) 2023, Idaho’s Best Worst & Weirdest Comedians 2023, “Master of Nerdlesque” and “Master of Assels” at The Colorado 2020 BurlyPics Solid Gold Regionals and has been a feature performer for Carnival De Sensual (CO) and the 2023 Midwest Burlesque Festival (OH). Muff has been fathering nudebies’ and getting strange on stages across the nation, breaking down societal norms one Assel twirl at a time.
