As Treefort’s culinary branch, Foodfort brings together local, regional, and national chefs, media, and culinary experts for intimate eating experiences, industry discussions, demos, lessons, and more.

This year, we’ve got a buffet of delish experiences to whet your palate. Kick off Treefort with two nights of tasty meals and fuel up for all the tunes! We’re thrilled to welcome Chef Lee Anne Wong: American chef, restaurateur, author, and well known Top Chef mainstay. Plus, Street Eats is back for another year of casual bites!

Heads up, y’all: Foodfort dinners always sell out quickly, so don’t wait to snag your tickets! Foodfort dinners are not included with your Treefort wristband–additional tickets must be purchased.

Wed 3/26 @ The Lively | 6-8pm

Join us for a spectacular feast with chef and restauranteur Lee Anne Wong. Infamous for her dumplings, Chef Wong will take us through an intimate multi-coursed meal at gorgeous downtown restaurant: The Lively. Enjoy this sit-down dinner with perfect drink pairings, and hear from Chef Wong about her culinary experiences. The ideal stocking stuffer for your Foodfort family–snag your tickets quick, as these dinners sell out early!

Thur. 3/27 @ Zoo Boise | 6-8 pm

Street Eats returns for its third annual feast! Join us at Zoo Boise on Thursday 3/27 from 6-8pm. Taste your way around 14 different chefs from the Treasure Valley. Each chef has prepared a special small plate to try, plus we’ll have drinks for purchase. Zoo admission is included with your ticket!

Sun. 3/30 @ KIN | 12-1 pm

Learn some new techniques with the team at KIN! Guests of the demo will be ushered around four stations: cocktail making, pickling and fermenting, dessert plating, and beverage pairing. Each station will include a deep dive into techniques, histories, and flavors with the team – all while tasting samples and getting a behind-the-scenes look at the KIN kitchens. Please be aware that you will be walking through the KIN space and standing for the majority of the demo time.

Fri. 3/28 @ Tiner’s Alley Tavern | 10:30 am – 12:30 pm

Join Top Chef’s Lee Anne Wong in breaking down a whole Kanpachi. Guests of the demo will learn some fast recipes, ideas for using this tasty fish, and various cooking and preparation techniques. A tasting will be included.

Wed. 3/26 @ Anthony’s | 2-3 pm

Join Anthony’s for an Oyster Masterclass and learn all about one of our favorite mollusks! From farming to varieties, you’ll discover so much about our tasty shelled friend, all while enjoying 6-8 freshly shucked oysters paired with local wine from Cinder. Lastly, you’ll have an opportunity to participate in an Anthony’s tradition—Oyster Slurp, where you down a dozen oysters without using your hands!
