More comics to be announced soon, but for now let’s give a warm round of applause as we welcome this first round of comics for Comedyfort 2025!
Dina Hashem
New York City, NY
Known for her deadpan delivery and nuanced observations on her Islamic upbringing, Dina has been a stand out on the NY comedy scene since winning her first appearance on Comedy Central’s Roast Battle.
Dina is currently a writer for The Daily Show and previously staffed on Sex Lives of College Girls thanks in part to BJ Novak’s strong recommendation to Mindy Kaling. Dina has also staffed on Novak’s FX anthology The Premise, along with Ramy Youssef’s upcoming animated show #1 HAPPY FAMILY for A24 and Amazon. In 2023, she released her debut special Dark Little Whispers on Amazon Prime. She was named one of Team Coco’s Comics to Watch and made her late night debut on Conan in 2017. She has also appeared on Night Train with Wyatt Cenac, 2 Dope Queens, and This Week at the Comedy Cellar–plus her Comedy Central set has almost 3 million views.
Wally Baram
Los Angeles, CA
Wally’s comedy brings a unique perspective on the strange banalities of entering the adult world as well as growing up with a strong multi-cultural/Mexican-Syrian identity. She is also, unfortunately, Gen-Z.
Wally Baram is a Mexican-Syrian stand-up comedian, writer, and actress in Los Angeles. She has performed stand-up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and was selected for the prestigious Just for Laugh’s New Face Showcase in 2020. Wally performs regularly at clubs and venues across the country. She’s also written for notably hilarious TV shows, including: Shrinking, What We Do in the Shadows, BETTY, Sprung, and the upcoming Netflix series, NEON.
