BRITTANY CARNEY
(New York, New York)
Brittany Carney was most recently a staff writer on TEENAGE EUTHENASIA for HBO Max. She also wrote as a staff writer this fall for HBO Max’s sketch series That Damn Michael Che Show . Her on-camera credits include Comedy Central’s This Week at the Cellar, and she has performed stand-up for Comedy Central’s Up Next series. Brittany began standup in DC, where she appeared at the DC Improv Comedy Club, Drafthouse Theaters, Black Cat, and Underground Comedy’s The Big Hunt. She now lives in NYC and performs at venues including Upright Citizens Brigade, Caroline’s On Broadway, and the Comedy Cellar. She has featured for some of the most venerable names in comedy now including Aparna Nancherla, Chris Gethard, Melissa Villasenor, Gary Gulman, Colin Quinn, Hari Kondabolu, Moshe Kasher, Wyatt Cenac, Jena Friedman and many more.
IAN KARMEL
(Los Angeles, California)
Ian Karmel is primarily a Portland Trail Blazers fan, but credits wise: He’s won an Emmy. He was the head writer of the Late Late Show. He was just a regular writer on Chelsea Lately. He’s done stand-up on Conan, Comedy Central and Netflix. He created and hosts the All Fantasy Everything podcast. His first book, T-Shirt Swim Club, published by PenguinRandomHouse, comes out June 11th. He’s written for The Ringer, the New York Times and the Portland Mercury. He was on that show Game On with Rob Gronkowski, Venus Williams, Bobby Lee and Keegan Michael Key. He couldn’t find the bio his agent wrote so he had to kind of throw this one together, but it’s not terrible, right? Go Blazers.
DEREK SHEEN
(Seattle, Washington)
Derek Sheen is a cuddly mess of insecurities, a human hug and a one of a kind storyteller. Sheen has amassed a loyal fanbase touring with such acts as Patton Oswalt, Janeane Garofalo (ahem, see above) and Brian Posehn, just to name a few. He has also released four albums of his standup on Minneapolis-based Stand Up! Records with Grammy winning producer, Dan Schlissel. The Chicago Reader has said of him, “As often as his crowd seems to brace for impact, they spend more time howling at his audacity. Sheen can be crude, but he’s never alienating or upsetting”.
GIRL GOD
(Los Angeles, California)
GIRL GOD is a comedy and writing duo featuring April Clark and Grace Freud. Their live shows are surreal, interactive performances with jokes from their trans and queer perspective that are actually funny and not just looking for applause. With sold out shows in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles – not to mention sketches that have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times online – Girl God is the most popular trans comedy group performing today, if not ever. In addition to their Comedyfort set, be sure to catch their live podcast, The Girl God Experience, at Podfort 2024!
SCOTT LOSSE
(Seattle, Washington)
Scott Losse is a stand-up comedian from Seattle, Washington. His comedy is like this silly observational story-telling thing with some one-liners and stuff – it’s real medium energy stuff. You’re gonna love it. He’s performed at Portland’s Bridgetown Comedy Festival (RIP), SF Sketchfest, Sketchfest Seattle, Northwest Folklife Festival, Bumbershoot: Seattle’s Music & Arts Festival, and other places that aren’t festivals. He’s the winner of the 2013 Northwest Comedy Competition and a past semifinalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition.
LISA WALLEN
(Los Angeles, California)
Lisa Wallen is an LA-based but Seattle-native stand-up comedian, Twitch partner, content writer, and a massive nerd who’s incredibly online. From dorky niche tidbits about constantly dying in video games, to finding silliness in her personal traumas, Lisa has earned herself a notable reputation in both the gaming industry and comedy. She’s performed in sallome pretty sweet places such as Japan, Vietnam, anime conventions around the US, and the beautiful Spokane, WA.
