Every year since the beginning of Treefort, we’ve utilized a variety of spaces for the fest. It’s a core part of our multi-venue model and creating a festival of discovery. We have shows in coffee shops, parking lots, basements, bars, and restaurants. We set up stages in the streets, throw shows at the skatepark and turn that building you’ve never noticed into a rockin’ venue for five days straight.
2023 has more new venues & stages than ever before! In addition to taking over part of Julia Davis Park, we are spreading the Treefort magic to the far corners of Downtown Boise and in all the nooks & crannies in between. The best way to see all of Treefort’s venues is to buy a Festival Pass, on sale now!
Here are some new venues to discover at Treefort 11:
TREEFORT MUSIC HALL
722 W. Broad Street | Wed 3/22 – Sun 3/26 | Wristband (or $30 presale) Required | All Ages
Boise’s newest year-round, all-ages, artist forward, state-of-the-art music and events venue by Duck Club Entertainment (the creators of Treefort Music Fest) will be debuted during Treefort 11. While Treefort Music Hall won’t be done done (grand opening set for June 2023), it will be up and running to catch some of your fave bands and must-see artists
Here’s a little backstory for ya: In 2011, Treefort co-founder Lori Shandro wanted to open a music venue in Boise. She met Eric Gilbert, who said “what about a festival?” They decided to put a venue on the back burner and founded Treefort Music Fest instead. Ten years later, in 2021, they set their focus back on the venue and got to work on what is now Treefort Music Hall.
