Sourcing their name from the lexicon of Carl Jung, Shadow Work channels a novel form of dark indie pysch-rock, permeated with themes of spiritual rebirth and a reckoning with the hidden aspects of the psyche. The trio (vocalist/guitarist Rafael Nava, bassist Joseph Szlanic, and drummer Ben Zickau) quickly garnered an avid following with their debut EP "Robben Island," touring regionally with notable local acts. Propelled by a mutual ambition to write and perform with equal momentum, they matured as a unit within a diligent DIY work ethic and a spirited, high-energy live performance. Now a seasoned touring act bringing their sophomore release "Imago" to stages across the United States, shadow work will embark on their first European tour in May 2024.
