Sean Ahern grew up in Boise Idaho. Through his initial passion through skateboarding he found art as another means of expression. Once graduating high school, he moved to Seattle and found huge inspiration in graffiti and through travels in Europe fine art, contemporary and the history of art. He has shown at Garden City Projects, JUMP, Clay By Shay, The Common Well and Treefort Music Festival, a year long residency at AI Studios. His focus is in mixed media painting, communicating visceral emotion through texture and contorted figures.
