Fmr. Idaho St. Rep. Syme was born and raised near Weiser and lives today with his wife Patti in Wilder. They have four adult children and he and his family raise sheep and hay on 40 acres. They're also real estate agents in the Treasure Valley. Patti served for years as the Canyon County GOP Chairwoman and Scott served 3 terms in the Idaho House of Representatives. Scott also had a military career in the U.S. Army spanning over three decades and he served two tours in Iraq retiring as a Colonel. Scott is a Republican candidate for the Idaho State Senate in District 9 this year. He works with Veterans for Idaho Voters in support of Open Primaries in the Gem State.
