APISA is Rita Oliva, singer, songwriter, and producer based in São Paulo who explores the connections between Brazilian music and alternative rock/dream pop. She took part in bands Cabana Café and Parati before launching her solo work with EP Papisa (PWR Records, 2016), followed by single Pressão (Freak, 2017), the album "Fenda" (2019), its twin "Remixes da Fenda" (2020) and single Melhor Assim (Costa Futuro, 2023). PAPISA has performed on stages and festivals such as Bananada (GO-BR), Festival Picnik (DF-BR), Festival Path (SP-BR), Festival Contato (SP-BR) and has also taken her music abroad in 2018 to SXSW in Austin (TX-USA), and to Portugal in 2019, where she recorded a single and videoclip. The artist just got signed by Spanish label Costa Futuro and prepares to release a new record in 2024, while touring across Brazil, the US, including SXSW (Austin-TX), New Colossus (NYC) and Europe.
