Ovum Health

Ovum Health takes a revolutionary biohacking approach to fertility by integrating advanced molecular diagnostics, precision medicine, as well as AI-driven insights and coaching.
Unlike traditional fertility treatments, Ovum Health empowers couples to take control of their reproductive health by addressing root causes and optimizing their biology for conception and pregnancy success.
Led by Alice Crisci - (She/Her) - Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder
Alice Crisci is an entrepreneur, healthcare media host, activist, author and cancer survivor. She co-founded Ovum Health and its subsidiary Ovum Medical, LLC to help women get pregnant, stay pregnant and live to watch their babies grow. Her first venture-backed startup, MedAnswers, raised $7M to solve health care problems through technology. The company’s first product FertilityAnswers is the first engagement platform to recruit women into life-affirming clinical trials and amassed more than 100,000 highly engaged participants, 250M video views, 50 strategic partnerships and placed thousands of women into research projects. It’s now being used to acquire patients into the Ovum medical practices across the country for a highly competitive and profitable CAC.
She also founded the oncofertility charity, Fertile Action, three weeks into her breast cancer diagnosis at 31-years-old. She built a reduced fee network of fertility specialists to offer egg freezing at 75% off retail prices. She also worked with a coalition to secure permanent insurance coverage in the State of California and succeeded in January 2018. She produced an online oncofertility, video education course for oncology professionals. The course was clinically validated and still runs in 200 countries through the Udemy platform. She also published her first book, "Too Young for This," a few days before her double mastectomy.
As Director of Government Affairs and Patient Advocacy for the California Cryobank (acquired by Cooper Surgical), a reproductive tissue bank, Ms. Crisci established regulatory relationships across multiple sectors and within both the US Congress and California Legislature. Her firm was the only group tracking legislation for gamete banks across the country.
Ms. Crisci also co-built a revenue acceleration consulting firm in her 20's that sold to the oldest direct selling company in the nation. She was also a strategic advisor to other start-ups in the health tech space including oncology companies, genomics ventures and educational institutions. She has guest lectured at UCLA Extension’s Entrepreneurship program, USC and UC Davis. Ms. Crisci has been featured in major publications across the world and on national television shows like The Doctors and The Today Show. She also was recently accepted as a columnist with Money Inc.
She is the ecstatic mom of a fertility preservation miracle son, aptly named Dante, meaning enduring. They reside in Northern Idaho on a small farm.
