OBSIDIENNE OBSURD is SF’s Chinese-American DRAG GOBLIN. She is the purveyor of the uncanny, the twister of minds, and the most nightmarish intersection of fine art and gay shit. She has been in movies (Wonderville, released on 1/27), she’s won PRIZES (she won the special award in the arts from the Gerbode Foundation last year), she’s won PAGEANTS (MX GAPA 2022!), she’s BEEN places (OBSIDIENNE was featured at OAKLASH and Bushwig this year, she travels!!!), and she isn’t stopping anytime soon (she’s producing her second all-AAPI show this May). She is a crafterix and fabricates everything that touches her body. OBSIDIENNE is a classical violist and hates institutions, capitalism, and billionaires.
