🏠 Los Angeles, CA Los Angeles based dream pop band Nightjacket have established themselves as a prominent presence in the ever evolving indie rock scene of Southern California. Formed as a passion project for guitarist/vocalist/producer Jordan Wiggins in 2014 and further anchored by the addition of multi-instrumentalist Louie Schultz in 2015, Nightjacket took on a new identity in 2019 when the band met Canadian singer/songwriter Andrea Wasse and bonded over their mutual love of dreamy alternative rock from the 80s and 90s. With lush soundscapes, pulsing beats, and soaring vocals, Nightjacket pays homage to their teenage influences such as Mazzy Star, The Sundays, R.E.M. and Cocteau Twins with their own touches of psychedelic Americana, ambient alt-pop, and jangly reverberated shoegaze.
