🏠 Perú
**Moldes** is a noise pop band from Lima known for exploring a musical journey that ranges from psychedelic rock to pop, and from kraut-rock to noise, incorporating sounds from their city and Peruvian music.
The band released their first LP in 2010, which was recognized as one of the best releases of the year by both local and international press specializing in Latin American independent music.
In 2014, they released their second LP, *Aguas de Marte*, which received over 15 mentions as one of the best albums of the year in Peru, Latin America, and Europe. The success of this album allowed the band to tour Mexico, Colombia, Germany, and France.
In 2018, after actively participating in the local music scene for three years, Moldes released the single *Canción de cuna para ciudades fantasmas*. The song exceeded the band's expectations by being featured on over 15 curated Spotify playlists.
Later, they traveled to Mexico after being selected out of 1,537 submissions from 25 countries to perform at FIMPRO 2019. This performance caught the attention of the TreeFort Music Festival programmer, leading to an invitation to perform at Idaho’s most important festival in the United States.
Initially scheduled for March 2020, the festival was postponed due to the pandemic to September 2021. Moldes traveled to the event, becoming the first Peruvian band to represent Peru at an international festival after the challenges posed by COVID-19.
During this trip, they performed three concerts, making such an impact that the organizers granted them a spot for the March 2022 lineup to continue supporting the band and showcasing new Peruvian music.
In this context, Moldes released their third LP, *Infraficie*, featuring a sound closer to contemporary pop while maintaining their distinctive style.
In late March, they embarked on the *InfraGira USA 2022*, with six successful performances in Boise, Seattle, Portland, and Spokane, sharing stages with artists like Kim Gordon, Osees, Built to Spill, Margaritas Podridas, Zeta, Acid Tongue, Wilderado, and others from genres such as rock, psychedelia, pop, and noise.
