My name is Miguel Angel Almeida and I am a Boise based Artist and Muralist. I work both traditionally and digitally. The work I create reflects who I am as a Mexican American. My color palette is largely influenced by the pueblos and towns that I grew up seeing in Mexico when visiting my grandparents. My artwork can range from imaginary worlds to tackling subjects like exploitation of immigrant farmworkers and immigration. Through my work I try to take viewers out of our reality and invite them into my imagination.
