Katie Dandrea

Jackson, WY
Katie Dandrea is a writer, dancer, and creative originally from Boise, Idaho, currently based in Jackson, WY. Katie’s work has a flair for the absurd and considers shifting identities, plays involving holographic tinder dates, Richard Brautigan’s poetry about turds taped to garbage-can lids, and dads. She has been featured in local readings through Backyardists events, Story Forward, and previous years of Storyfort. When Katie isn’t revising her work while crouched over her laptop on the cold tiles of her bathroom floor, she enjoys restarting Infinite Jest for the 8th time, climbing natural/plastic iterations of rocks, cosplaying a modern dancer in baggy clothing while improvising to Radiohead, and standing in used bookstores for hours on end.
