Dan Hurwitz is Seattle-based comedian, writer, and filmmaker. Disabled, Black, Jewish, but otherwise well-adjusted, Dan was voted Best of Fest at both the Burbank and Jersey City Comedy Festivals, was a semifinalist in the 2023 edition of the 40+ year-running Seattle International Comedy Competition, and was named one of the "Undisputable Geniuses of Comedy" by The Stranger newspaper in May 2024. Dan is also a producer of the annual Disabled List Comedy Festival, which is held every January in Seattle, and curated the comedy portion of the Bumbershoot Arts and Music Festival on Labor Day Weekend, 2024. Outside of comedy, Dan was the 2023 keynote speaker at the Pacific Northwest Employment Forum, and hosted Real Change newspaper's 29th Anniversary dinner and fundraiser in October, 2023.
