Concha, a Boise based artist, was the kind of kid who colored on the walls and still does. She first practiced painting large scale during a Freak Alley refresh in 2015 and has since worked on murals in both public and private spaces. She gravitates to mural work for its ability to tell personal/collective stories, generate collaboration and increase access to art. Concha pulls inspiration from the natural world, street art, her cultural identity and hopes to push her style in this medium in a more painterly direction. She feels energized by live painting as a part of the process and looks forward to challenging her current limits as a muralist.
