Britt McClintock

Britt McClintock - (They/Them)
Director at UC Berkeley IT and Co-founder at sousou strategies. Over the past 15 years, McClintock has been working as a diversity, equity, and inclusion educator, consultant, and strategist as well as an Ethnic Studies high school educator.
They have helped create curriculums and training surrounding BIPOC and LGBTQ2+ inclusion and equity in collegiate programming. In 2015, they created a short documentary on the negative impacts of gender (binary) socialization (THIS SCREENED AT TREEFORT!). McClintock has done consulting work with universities on inclusion and equity initiatives, as well as working with parents, and educating them on race and gender conversations.
They have been working with UC Berkeley IT since May 2022. They most recently cofounded sousou strategies, a cultural strategy and engagement consulting business, with Kala Stepter. Equity and inclusion is a process and a consistent practice - it can only be accomplished with vulnerability and radical acceptance. I believe every employee/employer deserves to be seen, heard, safe, and supported.
